A journey to a place unknown, yet oddly it seemed like a dream I had once had. This place seems so familiar, as if I had walked this well beaten path before, yet I cannot remember. If I have been here before, my paws struck rhythm on this earthen floor, then why can I not recall what name by which this area goes. I'm just wandering, just scouring the earth over for my place of belonging. I left my home to find myself, but here I am and I am lost still, perhaps there is nothing more to me, perhaps I was just born into that pack and just found felt that there was something more. Suppose there is nothing here for me, no answers to who I truly am, what shall I do then...I shall go on, for if I manage to remember what it was I came searching for in the first place, the perhaps I shall find what I seek. Yes, that will be what I call true. Not much I know, only my name, Wind Fallen, but I wish to know who gave me my name, I wish to know why it is that I cannot remember. I shake my head, shake those foreign thoughts from my mind, I will succeed, I will find what I am looking for...and if not, perhaps I shall find a mate. That would indeed be nice, I know that I am the most attractive of males, the females in my old pack could see that as well. I am strong, I needn't worry myself over such silly things.

I shake my head again, clearing the thoughts from my mind and focusing on discovering where I am and why I feel as if I have been here before. I let my muscular legs pick up a pace that moved the ground beneath me at a faster rate and my ears swiveled to catch the forest sounds. The dense foliage allowed little sunlight to slip through and what rays that managed to seep through its cover played shadows on my back. My thick gray coat was like a warm blanket that covered my back in shades of gray with black entwined within its hairs and the lighter gray upon my legs. As the rise and fall of my legs brings distance to my body I wonder at this place, why I traveled here, but I dismiss any idea that seems farfetched and I let a smile come to my muzzle. I'm here because I was exhiled from my pack, I did not belong there, I am here because I am traveling to find myself. I will find out who I am, yes I know my name and by technicality I know who I am, but not why...not why I am. Strange thoughts that I did not wish to think, but they kept slipping into my mind. All my thoughts were disrupted, the chain broken, when I heard a twig snap.

All four legs were brought to a halt and my regal head swiveled, ears too swirled upon their apex and my nose twitched. My light brown eyes peered into the pines ahead and then scanned the bushes around me. I remained completely silent, then I heard it again, the soft pitter patter of feet. I waited for the soft drumming to come nearer and I crouched low to the ground. Whatever it was, I wasn't going to let it surprise me, nope, I was prepared. A sudden movement in a bush to my right diverted my eyes and I lunged immediately at the form coming forth from the juniper bush. My flying paws pinned beneath them a small fox and already my teeth were bared by instinct. It took a few seconds to realize what it was I had beneath my claws. It was a small victory in my mind, I had caught a meal, but I had been prepared for another wolf. The little red fox struggled beneath my pads, but I ended its struggle shortly, my teeth wrapped around its small neck and clamped until bone broke, then it ceased to struggle beneath me. I hadn't had a meal yesterday, so this would compensate for my missed dinner. I slowly devoured my kill, picking clean the bones, til nothing but a skeleton remained. That was life; I was larger, it was smaller, therefore it was my prey, my meal. I sat down for a few minutes to lick clean my paws and legs. I did relish the taste of fox meat, lately I had been living off the small rodents and the occasional rabbit, a fox was a nice change.

I rose to my four limbs and left behind the skeleton of my kill, the flies already flocked like vultures to the freshly made corpse. Not a backwards glance was given by me as I returned to my wandering course. Four legs moving forward, moving towards perhaps an answer to my questions...at least I have hope. The woods became only denser and at last they suddenly seemed to disperse in a small clearing. I halted my forward motion immediately and scented the air, old scents of other wolves still lingered her, there must be someone in this wood. I let a low rumble come forth from my vocals, calling to anyone, just anyone. I hoped that someone was here, I did not wish for my search to end in vain. Please god let there be an answer.

[ooc- ;D hehe, it's the post I used to get him, but what the heck, it works for here. I added a little more, but it's generally the same.]

I wander forever....

As the tender squeal of a fox reached the white alpha's aud's she flung her head to the west, her ears now perked and flicking curiously. She nutsed her weight to her right leg, compensating for the wound now traced across her shoulder which she had gained in a hunt from her home. Narrowing her orbs, now vicously just wonderingly, she started to approach the area she heard the pitiful fox die. Who was this wolf who hunted on her lands? He better be friendly, well, Mountain Springs hoped anyway, she was not up to her best fighting wise the injury was incredibly painful. Cringing slightly as her paw scuffed a fallen twig causing his shoulder to jolt she continued on, knowing very well that she needed members, but Timber Lake didn't have many. It was a fine, and life threatning pity.

"Who goes there?" She questioned dominatly, although a obvious once of friendly placed in her melodic voice. She wasn't one of thoose power hungry alpha's, nor were any of them as she wouldn't of gave them the land, but she did want a certain amount of respect shown. "Show yourself.... What's your name and buisness?" She asked, a lot more friendly than before, although her tail remained erect the same as her crown. As the brown dead carcass of the fox came to view she raised a brow curiously. What wolf would catch food on her lands? Shrugging her shoulders lightly he gave a short growl of pain as she forgot about her wound.

Approaching around the bush now concealing the wolf more she made herself look as big as she could, was actually quite unimpressive as she was already known as the smallest wolf at Sonoa Mountain Range without making himself bigger, well it was the only thing she could depend on now. If this one decided to attack, it would be agony. Resting down carefully on her haunches she frowned slightly at her shoulder before turning back to the wolf and flicking him a smile before turning to her needed dominant posture. Swishing her tail patiently behind, she sniffed the air lightly, checking no others were around. She didn't wish for an ambush.

.... lost forever

My head snapped around at the call of another wolf, I looked back into the heavy woods with keen eyes, wondering where the other wolf was. Cautiously I turned back and walked slowly again into the pines, my footfalls were light and each move was calculated. I had heard dominance in the others voice, but I also noticed that it was feminine. It was odd, but I could swear I knew that voice. My churning legs brought me back to the corpse of my kill and my head swung round in a circle, looking for the owner of the voice. I raised my head slightly to look around, my nose twitching to catch the others scent. The bushes lie all around him and he knew that the female could be waiting in the bushes, waiting to ambush him, but he was brave, he knew his own strength and he knew that he would be stronger than the she-wolf. I caught a whisp of her scent and narrowed my eyes at one of the bushes. I watched the bushes and gave a reply, my tone confident and strong.

"I go here. Merely wandering...are these lands yours?"

I had yet to see the other, so I calmly walked around the side of the bush and halted within her sight. She was a beautiful wolf, my, my, was she a pretty one. I wondered to myself if she was an alphess as her dominant posture implied. Lowering my maw I spoke again in my bold tone.

"I am Wind Fallen."

I gave respect enough to her, my tail tucked between my legs. My eyes did not gaze directly at her, but I had seen her at first glance... she seemed familiar, but from where I couldn't place.

[ooc- goodness, that was a lame post]

Who do you...

Wind Fallen, aye? What a unigue name for you. I only knew one wolf by this name, and he is gone forever into the mist. Her tail curved elegantly over her haunches, and she rose her head above the one before her. Curving her neck, she held her tiara up proudly in front of him. Her amber orbs cast a strange light on him, but a smile lit her maw and curved it gracefully. A small smile, just enough to play at her lips was visable. The cool wind ripped through her fur, and she looked at him calmly, a sortof, you have no clue where you are, do you? Taking her head, she whispered into his ear lightly. "Yes, these are mine and these can be anyone elses who wishes. I will grant a wolven permission to have a pack on my lands. Though, do you have my permission to hunt upon this soil, I say not!"

Pulling her head away, she smirked at him. She was not in a pleasant mood at this time. Her face was pleasant, but it hid the features she dare not show. "The only place that does not need permission from me to hunt is the great plain. Now, Wind Fallen, is thow looking for a pack to call home? If so you have my permission to stay with me and mine. A great blizzard is upon us, and it is not safe for wolven at this time." Tilting her head, she let her auds twitch and she seemed to relax but held her dominent posture. At the end of her phrase, she clicked her tongue against the inside of her canines. A sort of way to astablish she was finished with the insistant jabber that came from her mouth. The smile faded upon her maw, and a stern look fell upon her features.

Shuffling her paws on the thick snow, she huffed gentle and tightened her tail around herself. She hated the wind, but it was a great allie at times. Sighing deeply, she lowered her head and let his head rise above hers. She was tired, and not feeling well at the least. Her ivories showed alittle at the corner of her maw, and her auds flicked back as a gentle cough came to her. Her bodice racked, but she then lifted her head and looked into his brown orbs. Studying him, for she could have sworn he reminded her of someone, but that one was dead. He had fallen to his death, came to the fate of the river. Shrugging lightly, she went back to her dominent posture.

.... think you are?

I did not move when she spoke to me, I had nothing to fear, no one put that sense in me. I let her whisper into my ear, not flinching from the small wind it placed inside its canal. I caught on she was not happy with my intrusion and what a great facade she did wear. The wind whistled and my ears laid flat to avoid the sharpness in my ears. Snow flakes stuck to my coat like glue and my gray fur was white as a blank sheet of paper. I waited patiently for her to finish her spiel of words and when her head suddenly lowered I lowered mine slightly as well, she looked tired and seemed actually slightly annoyed with having to be out in this weather with the biting wind and bitter cold. I watched her as she seemed to think, before she again rose to the familiar posture of the alphas. I looked to the sky. Indeed a storm did brew, already the clouds above my head swirled with the anticipation to drop their pristine white load. I looked back at her and spoke in a calm, even voice.

"A pack is not what I seek, my home is what I seek. As the storm does draw near I ask shelter til its passing, then I shall be on my way and continue in my search lest I find my answers here."

She was a strange wolf and she looked so familiar, her name too was familiar, but I couldn't place her. Despite my efforts to divert my eyes I found their soft brown depths searching hers for something, I didn't know what they were looking for, so quickly I let them fall to the ground, then back to her chest level. Seeing as I had asked something of her, I apologized for my rude staring.

"I am sorry, Mountain Springs, for staring, you remind of someone...but I can't remember who."

I was not someone to hide what I was doing, I was brave and bravery meant not showing cowardice in not giving Springs why I rudely trespassed onto her lands. Again I spoke, my maw lower then hers and my tail between my legs.

"I did not mean to trespass upon your lands, I did not know they were yours and even still I cannot believe these lands belong to such a beautiful wolf. I am merely wandering in search of myself..or someone who knows who I am."

The last part I said softer, it was more of a side note but it was said aloud. I forced a smile and awaited her judgement of me, if she did not accept I would be obliged to leave and go on my way. That would be not much of a set back for me, it was my intention to continue on if I could find no answers in this place. My pads shifted restlessly across the thick layer of snow and I waited patiently for the response of Springs.

The snow that perched so easily atop the trees branches crumbled at the light foot steps of the wolf that stalked threw the trees. Leaving small footprints in the hard snow, a light dusting had descended over the icy top of the previous fluttering of snowflakes. The wind cut threw his eyes and made them water but he was not paying any mind to the searing cold that made his vision blurr. Kyalu's silver orbs caught sight of movements beyond the shuddering pine.

Gently he pushed threw and paused as he took in the scent of his alpha. Then the scent of another he didn't know at all, Kyalu fell silent and crouched into the snow. The trees above him rustled but his ears were locked onto thier voices and he heard them just fine even as the wind hissed around him. A draft of wind sent a blast of icy snow into his face and he felt it stab him like a needle. Kyalu shook himself and he stretched up to his apex, prancing forward on the edge of the forest clearing. Kyalu's eyes smiled and then his lips did the same, he caught sight of his alpha and he could feel the slight tension between them.

Kyalu padded casually forward and nodded to his alphess. Gingerly he stopped but then trotted loosely around the new wolf. Then he compared it too the alphess and they had many simalarties. Something wasn't right as they spoke amongst themselves. Kyalu growled to his alphess as the sun filtered down threw the clouds and made him shimmer. His tail flicked, one ear thingyed forward the other one back against his velvet head. Black nose twtiching as he read thier scents. His paws kneaded the snow as he stepped forward and exchanged glances.

"I do hate too intrude but... who are you?" Kyalu asked, tilting his head towards Wind Fallen. This he wolf standing thier so bravely and couegously. This slightly irritated Kyalu that this trespasser had not been polight to the alphess.

"Mountain Springs, forgive me asking and for being so rude but... is this a member of our pack and thats why he does not show such submission?" Kyalu glanced back to the new he wolf and shifted uneasily, now a tension was growing restless but this was strange for most of the time when meeting other loners he had been more gentle and warmer.

Kyalu shook his head, the icy made his mind fog. the cold also seemed to block his sensitivty and maybe it was because of his rank. He was part of the pack and all loners that had not joined were always lesser then a pack member no matter the rank. Kyalu shuffled over the snow and then shook himself of the newly falling flakes. His gray and white pelt pulled by the wind, his nose twtiched again. Watching the new he wolf interacting with the alphess.

"Excuse my rudeness, I suppose that even a loner with such bravery deserves some respect. I am Kyalu, and you?" Kyalu's ears pricked forward and he shuddered lightly, trying to stay warm within the cold day. His tongue slid over his maw as he took in some flakes that melted as soon as his eraser tongue touched it. His teeth chattered, Kyalu sat and his tail curled around his front paws. Rocking side to side on his front paws, making the snow beneath them melt, but his pads became cold and he lift on up against his brest. Then he set the warm paw down and pulled the other one against his warm fur. He did this continuously during the session.

Something cried above and Kyalu knew it was the crow from before, this was slightly strange that the black word continued to follow where every he was or was it someone else it was following. Kyalu shook his head and looked back to the new wolf. Trying to read what it was feeling other then the bravery that so plainly showed within his eyes. Kyalu felt the wind whip against his flanks and he huddled.

(Um... maybe its just me but its confusing when you don't put "--" around what your saying. Since you rp in first person and you talk in first person it's all mixed up to me)

I stood, silently awaiting a reply from the alphess when the other approached. His growl was returned with my own, but when he stopped I followed suit. I only remained calm for he appeared to be a member of the she-wolf's pack, as he circled me my eyes followed him. He seemed to compare myself to the wolfess. He spoke quite rude at first, but then excused himself, perhaps he was the not the fool I first thought him to be. I still stood, my maw lower then hers, my tail tucked between my hind legs. I heard the caw of the crow overhead and saw the other male's reaction, I gave the black bird a glance, but no more..no less. I returned my gaze to earth shortly, but let my eyes meet the strange male's gaze. I responded blankly to his question of my name, the confident tone ringing true.

"I am Wind Fallen. Pleasure to meet you Kyalu."

I gave a stiff nod of my smokey head as the wind danced with my fur. I diverted my eyes to the lady, my gaze below her head and on her chest. I calmly awaited a reply from the silent wolfess and paid not much heed to the other. I gave him an answer out of respect for Mountain Springs and her pack, but I gave respect only unto her for my question had been for her.

[ooc- He speaks in bold, but I'll put quotations around his words if it will help ;D... and my god this post was short! I'm sorry it is, I'm just rushing right now.]
